Learning at Work Week: Getting started with Bloomberg In-Person

This session is in the Financial Resources Suite on Floor 2 of Brunel Library (BANN 230a), in the Bannerman Centre building.

Bloomberg is a database available in the Library building which provides access to historical and real time (recent) data and research of many types, including public companies. In this session we will:
 

  • Identify key types of information available in the Bloomberg database, including public company data and research, economic data, and news
  • Use Bloomberg terminals to explore options for searching and browsing
  • Compare data from multiple companies using Bloomberg functions
  • Locate Bloomberg functions that will be of relevance to your interests
  • Discuss training options and certifications available for making further use of Bloomberg
