Introduction to Systematic Literature Review: Part 3. Screening, Following up, Reporting, and Later stages Online
Systematic Reviews are a type of literature review which are comprehensive and replicable, ensuring that all relevant research is considered for inclusion. This research method, which synthesises empirical research to build authority, originated in health and life sciences and has become increasingly popular in the social sciences.
In this third workshop (of three) we’ll focus on getting to a final set of papers, transparently reporting your processes, other stages to learn about, and tools to consider using. This will include:
- Planning and carrying out screening to get to a set of papers which meet your review criteria
- Sourcing full text and citation tracking
- Reporting your searches and decisions
- Later review stages (Full text analysis, critical appraisal, data extraction and systematic review tools will be discussed briefly).
This workshop is the third of a set of three; participants are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions, and should register for parts 1 and 2 separately.
Registration for part one
Registration for part two
Doctoral Researchers are recommended to register via InkPath.
