Adopt a critical approach to generative AI Online

This session aims to show how you how to adopt a more critical mindset when using generative AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini etc, and will give you some practical tips on how to evaluate AI tools and the results they produce.

Rather than seeking to address the question "can I use generative AI for my assignment?", this session will aim to address the questions "should I use generative AI for my assignment?", "how does generative AI produce its results?", "what are the implications of using generative AI?", "will generative AI provide everything I need?".

This session is aimed primarily at students who are already using, or have used, generative AI tools but is open to anyone with an interest in using generative AI tools for study.

Please note: The session will be delivered via MS Teams, joining instructions will be sent after registration.
