Library Essentials In-Person
An introduction to getting the most out of the library, primarily aimed at new starters and people seeking a refresh on using the library, but everyone is welcome.
Content covered in this session will include:
- Using Library search tools to find academic material such as books, ebooks, and journal articles.
- Accessing subject guides.
- Navigating the library shelves with the Library of Congress Classification system.
- Accessing subject-related databases.
- Requesting material not part of our collection.
- Understanding how the library will support you.
